Ready Player One is my favorite book of all time, and I want the movie to do well, too. With Spielberg in the director’s chair, and Ernest Cline involved in the adaptation, this is sure to be a box office winner, right?
Maybe not.
In this video, I compare Ready Player One to another sci-fi book that I loved, Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, which had its adaptation come out in 2013.
That movie BOMBED.
I go pretty deep with the comparison here, and we talk a lot of numbers and strategy, too. One day, I like to write a book turned screenplay, and I definitely don’t want it to be a flop!
